Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tapped (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Tapped is a minimalist iOS productivity app that helps users focus on one task at a time. The App allows you to create tasks, lists, and habits, and complete them sequentially by tapping a single button.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You can sign up with an email address and password, or use Sign in with Apple.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the App’s Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with the following limits:

Up to 5 active items (tasks and subtasks combined; up to 7 after rating the app)
1 list with subtasks
Completed tasks are permanently deleted after the 10-second undo window

4.2 Tapped Pro (Premium)

The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans that unlock additional features:

Unlimited lists
Unlimited active items
Full archive access
AI-powered features (task breakdown, smart sorting)

4.3 Pricing

Weekly: $2.99 USD
Monthly: $9.99 USD
Yearly: $99.99 USD

Prices are subject to change. Current prices are always displayed in the App before purchase.

4.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your iPhone’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4.5 Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchases. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (tasks, lists, habits, subtasks).
You are solely responsible for the content you create.
We do not monitor, review, or edit your content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems or other users’ data
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use automated systems or bots to access the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
